Great progress is being made on the General Aviation Building Construction. Even with the harsh winter conditions, work continues.
The new building will have a modern design that will allow operation expansion as well as increase efficiency for travelers. The terminal will have a separate screening area on the first floor for international flights and passengers while they are waiting for U.S. Customs clearance into the United States. The second floor will serve as the administrative office for the CCEDC and CIU airport management. Construction is scheduled to be completed in September of 2022.
